What Actually Moves the Price in Broward

Three things change a Broward quote more than square footage does.

Access at both ends. A house in Weston with a driveway loads straight onto the truck. A condo in Fort Lauderdale moves through a booked service elevator on a fixed window, and that window sets the pace of the entire day no matter how many movers are on the job.

How much packing you want. Packing is the single biggest swing. A full-home pack adds materials and several hours of labor. Packing the kitchen and the fragile rooms yourself and leaving us the furniture is the usual middle ground.

When you move. The first and last weekend of the month book out across the whole county, because that is when leases turn over. Book two to three weeks ahead, and earlier if you need a month-end Saturday.

Licensing and Coverage

Pro Movers Miami operates under US DOT 2855891, MC 956262, Florida IM 2721, and MR 01221. These authorize us to move households inside Florida and across state lines from any Broward County address.

Broward buildings ask for proof before a truck comes onto the property, and associations here are strict about it. Give us your building name and move date and we send management what they require ahead of the day, at no cost to you.

Commercial Moves in Broward County

We move offices, retail units, and warehouse inventory across the county. Most commercial jobs run overnight or across a weekend, partly because buildings require it and partly because the point is to open on time the next morning. We already run dedicated commercial pages for Hollywood and Coral Gables, and our office moving service covers the rest.

What We Cannot Load

As a DOT-registered carrier there are items we are not permitted to put on a truck, and it is better to know before the morning of the move.

Fuel, propane tanks, paint, aerosols, pool chemicals, and anything else flammable or corrosive stay behind. Plants rarely survive a hot trailer and most interstate moves will not carry them at all. Perishable food is the other common one, so run the freezer down in the week before rather than packing it.

Take the things you cannot replace with you in the car. That means passports, deeds, medication, jewelry, and hard drives. None of it is about trust, it is that a box in a stack of two hundred is the wrong place for something irreplaceable.
